Ski Champéry

The village Champéry (Valais) is situated on 1050 meters/3445 feet on the feet of the Dents du Midi and the Dents Blanches. Champéry is one of the oldest tourist destinations in Switzerland. The history goes back to 1857. In this year the first hotel "L’hôtel de la Dent-du-Midi" opened. Today you can still admire the well preserved, traditional architecture of the village. Along the main street you will find many chalets with carved balconies and the "toits en sifflet", the traditional roofs. This street charms its visitors with the small shops, bars, terraces and restaurants.
