Ski Arosa
| Guaranteed snowfall, absolutely no through traffic, long hours of sunshine and fresh mountain air – all of these make Arosa a paradise for snow enthusiasts. There are 13 track systems to take you to 2,653 metres above sea level and 60 kilometres of excellently prepared pistes – and no long queues! Freestylers can show off their skills in the fun park and the halfpipe and, for people who aren’t yet steady on their skis or snowboard, trained Alpine sports instructors are permanently on hand. Another highlight around Arosa are the 60 kilometres of prepared winter hiking trails – again, with snow guaranteed. As the paths run right through the Alpine sporting area tired walkers can also rest in the many cosy mountain huts. Cross-country ski enthusiasts will enjoy Arosa’s 30 kilometres of traditional and skating courses too. Besides traditional ice skating, the ice sports offer also include curling. You can try your hand at these sports in one of the regular introductory courses. Of course, the winter programme in Arosa wouldn’t be complete without tobogganing, snowshoe walks, paragliding and romantic rides in horse-drawn carriages. The "Alpen Club Micky Maus" offers children a supervised winter programme too. It’s available free of charge to all children staying in the partner hotels. |
