In the heart of the historic centre, the Christmas market of Mulhouse on the Place de la Réunion is a pleasure for all the senses: the warm fabric of Christmas smells of cinnamon and mulled wine, magical illuminations. This main market, together with smaller offshoots in surrounding squares and museums, offers a wide range of high quality products and invites you on a gastronomic exploration of "bredele" (small Alsace cakes), mulled wine and chestnuts.
The Christmas market of Mulhouse is also famous for its decorations made out of a Christmas fabric. Every year, a new fabric, made from ancient patterns found in the archives of the Museum of Fabric Printing, is designed to decorate the city centre.
Three shuttle bus services are connecting EuroAirport to the main train stations in Basel (Switzerland), Saint-Louis (France) and Freiburg (Germany), enabling onward travel in each of the respective countries.
