Significant increase in scheduled flights from EuroAirport to Turkey in summer 2010
Six airlines offer 28 services to five destinations in Turkey
The 2010 summer timetable (valid as of 28 March 2010) sees a significant increase in services from EuroAirport to Turkey. Six airlines – Air Berlin (Belair), easyJet, Pegasus Airlines, Sun Express, TUIfly (XL Airways) and Turkish Airlines – will be offering scheduled flights to Turkey. Various other airlines are also planning chartered flights on behalf of tour operators.
In summer 2010, Air Berlin (Belair), easyJet, Pegasus Airlines, Sun Express, TUIfly (XL Airways) and Turkish Airlines will be offering scheduled flights from EuroAirport to Turkey. The following destinations will be available: Adana, Antalya, Istanbul-Ataturk, Istanbul-Sabiha Gökçen and Izmir. Following 12 weekly flights in the 2009 summer timetable, 28 weekly scheduled flights will now be featured in the 2010 summer timetable from EuroAirport to Turkey. This is an increase of 133% in comparison with the timetable of the previous year.
As a low-cost airline, Pegasus Airlines offers connections to its Turkish domestic network via Istanbul-Sabiha Gökçen. Via the airport of Istanbul-Ataturk, Turkish Airlines features very good connections to the international destinations of Bangkok, Capetown, Khartoum and Teheran.
